Home / Founder’s Story
My journey toward understanding human potential began long before my professional career.
As a high school student, I started working while continuing my studies. Taking on real responsibilities at an early age taught me lessons that no classroom could fully offer. It helped me develop discipline, resilience, independence, and a deep appreciation for meaningful work.
Those experiences shaped a belief that has guided me ever since.
Education should prepare young people not only for exams but also for life.
That belief became the foundation of my career.
After completing my MBA in Human Resources Development, I spent more than twenty two years helping people grow through leadership development, talent development, and organizational learning. My work gave me the opportunity to support individuals and teams as they reached their full potential.
Throughout those years, one question stayed with me.
What helps people discover their strengths, build confidence, and grow into capable leaders?
The answer became clearer with every experience. Meaningful mentorship, real life learning, and a supportive environment have the power to shape lasting growth.
Around sixteen years ago, my journey took on a new direction.
I began working closely with parents of newborns and young children, helping them create an environment where their children could grow with confidence, curiosity, and emotional strength. I supported parents through their own learning journey and showed them how everyday moments can have a lasting influence on a child’s development.
At the same time, I was raising my own daughter.
Much of what I shared came not only from professional knowledge but also from the experiences and lessons I was living every day as a parent.
Being part of a community of more than one thousand parents who openly shared their experiences, questions, and insights became one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. It strengthened my belief that growth happens best when people learn and grow together.
As my work continued to evolve, I began mentoring middle and high school students during some of the most important years of their lives.
As a Youth Life, Career and College Coach and Student Success Manager, I worked closely with students as they explored their interests, developed leadership skills, and planned meaningful paths for their future.
I met many bright and capable young people who were eager to learn and make a difference. What many of them needed was not more pressure or more activities. They needed thoughtful guidance to help them connect their interests with meaningful experiences and a clear sense of direction.
These experiences led me to an important realization.
The students who grow the most are not simply the ones who achieve strong academic results. They are the ones who are encouraged to explore their interests, take on meaningful responsibilities, serve their communities, build resilience, and discover a genuine sense of purpose.
That belief inspired the creation of Life GuruCool.
Life GuruCool is a mentorship community where students receive personal guidance to grow as learners, leaders, and responsible individuals. Through structured mentorship, students explore their passions, build leadership experiences, and work toward meaningful achievements, including respected national youth recognition programs such as the United States Congressional Award.
At Life GuruCool, our mission reaches far beyond helping students prepare for college.
We are committed to helping young people become thoughtful leaders, caring citizens, and confident individuals who are ready to make a positive contribution wherever life takes them.
When students discover their purpose and receive meaningful guidance through mentorship and real life experiences, they gain the confidence to create a future that is truly their own.
“When young people are given meaningful mentorship, real responsibility, and opportunities to serve, they begin to see themselves not only as students but also as leaders who can make a lasting difference in the world.”
